dr. dirks and rat peck didn’t get exhibitor tables either. WEAK. we were planning on banding together to distribute our comics but i guess that option’s axed. stumptown feels increasingly like an enclosed, tightly curated “industry” show like emerald city cc and that really bums me out….
up the punx! a new wind howls.

It sucks, i know but unfortunately, that’s what happens. Here it happens all the fucking time since I experienced that kind of stuff before. It’s their loss man. When you become big and they want you there, just show them the middle finger.

Dylan knew what was up. Really makes me think Portland needs an art comix show like Brooklyn and TCAF since Stumptown is becoming an industry show.

i flew across the country to go last year and the show sucked. there was people in costume walking around and a high quotient of jerk-off alley ‘indy superhero’ creators. although my actual time in the after parties and night life in pdx was amazing

this is bumming me out. I was excited for this fest but I feel like it’ll be overrun with penny arcade rip off comics. we’ll still party though.
